The Role

As a Maintenance Assistant, you’ll play a key role in helping maintain the appearance, safety, and functionality of our properties. Working alongside skilled professionals, you’ll assist with day-to-day repairs, preventative maintenance, and service tasks — all while gaining valuable experience and training for a long-term career in property maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support general maintenance work across residential and commercial buildings
  • Assist in diagnosing and addressing basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues
  • Help carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and report any issues promptly
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures and report potential hazards
  • Provide excellent and professional customer service to all clients and tenants interacted with
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • Ensure work areas are cleaned and left tidy after tasks are completed.

What We’re Looking For

  • A keen interest in property maintenance and estate management
  • Excellent command of English for effective communication within the team and with customers
  • Reliable, proactive, and eager to learn
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • National 5 in Maths, English, and Science (or equivalent) preferred.
