Kingsford estates established.

Kingsford Estates was founded with a vision to develop exceptional properties that would stand the test of time. With an emphasis on considered design, and long-term value, the company quickly built a reputation for quality across Edinburgh’s most desirable postcodes.
2007
Kingsford Office Opened

The launch of Kingsford Office marked a new chapter, introducing elegant, design-led workspaces for ambitious businesses. Housed in thoughtfully restored Georgian buildings, these offices offered more than just space: they provided a sense of place, presence, and professionalism.
2009
2 Walker Street Opens

The redevelopment of 2 Walker Street started in 2009 - a Georgian townhouse in Edinburgh’s West End redeveloped into 14 serviced offices. This project laid the foundation for what would become Kingsford Group: a commitment to reimagining heritage buildings with design integrity, attention to detail, and a focus on creating exceptional spaces for work and living. It marked the start of our journey in property development and placemaking.
2010
14 Albany Street Opens

The opening of 14 Albany Street marked a pivotal moment in the Kingsford Group journey - our first full office block development in the heart of Edinburgh’s New Town. Designed to reflect the elegance of its Georgian surroundings while delivering 9 modern offices, this project set the tone for our future developments and commitment to quality, design, and long-term value.
2013
26 Dublin Street Becomes Kingsford Business Club

In 2013, 26 Dublin Street became home to the Kingsford Business Club - our first foray into flexible, design-led coworking and private office spaces. Set within a beautifully restored townhouse, the Business Club brought together heritage architecture and a modern business ethos, offering boutique biophilic workspaces in the heart of Edinburgh’s city centre. It quickly became a hub for ambitious start-ups, creatives, and growing businesses.
2013
Acquisition of Old Broughton Higher Grade School.

A defining moment in the group’s history, Kingsford Estates acquired the historic Old Broughton Higher Grade School, a striking red sandstone building. This acquisition laid the foundation for a bold transformation rooted in respect for heritage and architectural integrity.
2014
76 Dublin Street Acquired

In 2014, Kingsford expanded its portfolio with the purchase of 76 Dublin Street. Initially let as a commercial space, the property reflected our ongoing commitment to preserving Edinburgh’s architectural character while adapting heritage buildings for modern business use.
2018
Kingsford Residence Opened.

Following five years of sensitive restoration, Kingsford Residence opened its doors. Designed for modern living with a nod to its educational past, the building now offers luxury serviced apartments and communal spaces for discerning residents seeking a home with both character and convenience
2021
76 Dublin Street Renovated & Relaunched

In 2021, we reimagined 76 Dublin Street, transforming it into a refined serviced office. Designed as a dedicated single-unit workspace, it combines the building’s Georgian charm with contemporary functionality. Since 2022, it has been home to one client, offering a tailored environment that reflects both professionalism and exclusivity.

2 Albany Acquired & Redeveloped

The acquisition of 2 Albany in 2021 marked another milestone in our journey. Formerly a commercial unit, the property was carefully redeveloped into a serviced office, reconfigured to serve a single client across two floors. This bespoke approach allows the building to operate as an independent headquarters while benefiting from Kingsford’s signature service and attention to detail.
